Joe Sullivan & Eddie Jones grab 2nd Place and $407.00 with a nice 5 fish limit of 17.42lbs.
Scott Napier & Scott Lefevers earn $296.00 for their 17.06lb 3rd Place finish.
Dave Rigsby & George Beeler take 4th Place with 16.72lbs and $236.00.
The 1st Divisional tournament of the Central TN division kicked off with 26 boats and a beautiful calm 70 degree day. I would like to thank Flipper of Flippers Bait and Tackle for helping make the Division opener a success. Unluckily, due to an unnoticed camera malfunction we didn't end up with as many fish pictures as normal, but we got the camera fixed and at least got the award pictures. Most fish were caught on dark colored jigs before noon in less than 5' of water.
The Team of Greg Haynes & Gene Barker fishing for Hunter's Point Construction and SUPERBASS took 1st place with 5 live fish totaling 21.01lbs which included the 6.42lb 2nd Place Big Bass of the day landing them a total of $1,219.00 for the days success. Their fish were caught on jigs before noon in dingy shallow water.
The team of Joe Sullivan & Eddie Jones take 2nd with a 5 fish limit of 17.42lbs and secure $407.00 for the days efforts.
The team of Scott Napier & Scott Lefevers fishing for Skeeter Boats, Team Marine, Yamaha Outboards & All-Pro Rods pull out 3rd with 5 fish totaling 17.06lbs and received $296.00 in return for their participation.
The team of Dave Rigsby & George Beeler fishing for All-Pro Rods came in 4th with a 16.72lbs stringer and put $236.00 toward their tournament earnings.
1st Place Big Bass went to Billy Thornefishing for Skeeter Boats, Yamaha Outboards, All-Pro Rods, Quantum, Pline & Dirty Jigs with a 6.50lb hawg to walk away with $312.00 in trade. Billy said he caught his fish on Dirty Jigs in the colored water with current.
Billy Templeton & Jason Minor fell just short of the money in 5th Place with 5 fish totaling 16.50lbs. Billy & Jason earned a SUPERBASS 50% off award toward their next tournament for their efforts.
6th Place was awarded to the team of Curt Newby & Tommy Grace for their 5 fish limit of 16.42lbs earning them a couple lure packs from Crock-O-Gator Baits & The Bassin' Shack.
Our smallest bag of fish went to the team of Roger Holder & Bubba Davis. Roger & Bubba received some Crock-O-Gator Baits and Strawberry's Bar-B-Que seasons to try from our sponsors for their participation.
Billy Templeton & Jason Minor fall just short of cashing a check with 16.50lbs but received a 50% off award toward their next tournament.
Billy Thorne worked a 6.50lb hawg to the boat to earn the tournaments 1st Place Big Bass and walk away with $312.00.

Divisional Points Champion will be based on your teams best 5 tournaments of the 6. Team of the Year Points Champions will be based on your teams best 6 tournaments throughout the entire season plus the Classic. All teams within 50 points of the lead will be eligible to compete for Team of the Year at the Classic.
