The weather prediction friday was to have a pretty decent 46 degree day on Sunday. I received many phone calls Thursday, Friday & Saturday
checking on the Sunday tournament and things were looking promising for the closing tournament of the Winter Division and the opening of the Central MO Division. Well, we woke Sunday morning to anywhere from 1/2" of snow to 4" in some places. All the main roads remained fine but the side roads and driveways became a problem including the road leading into the PB2 marina and the ramp was pretty slick. But not to fear, the SUPERBASSman is here! After a little searching I found a truck plowing a parking lot and got him to plow the road all the way to PB2, salted & sanded the ramp and we were ready to go for how ever many boats showed. Well, we ended up with 13 boats, many teams showed up for the weigh-in that just couldn't get the boat out of the drive just to watch . Overall, it was a tough day for everyone; tough weather, tough driving & a tough bite; but I think all that participated had a good time!

And last but not least I would like to recognize the team of Chris D'Aquila & Steve Brunjes fishing for Ranger Boats, Sport World Boat Center & Mercury Marine took 5th Place. This team fought tooth and nail with team Jennewein for the Divisional Points Champion position. Unluckily the bite Sunday was one of the toughest this year and they were only able to find one keeper. Chris and Steve took home a lure pack from Bryants Osage Outdoors and a Gift Certificate from Crock-O-Gator & The Bassin' Shack for their struggle. It was a tough, down to the line competition! Thanks for participating!
I would like to say Thank You to all the anglers that showed up and fished SUPERBASS (Every Angler Counts!), and our Sponsor (Town & Country Motel, CROCK-O-GATOR Bait Co., The Bassin' Shack, Bryants Osage Outdoors, Viper Rods & Lures & Smelly Jelly) for helping to bring this tournament series together.
